Built on relationships. Grounded in the West Midlands.
We're not a faceless national firm. Walter Myke Accountancy was founded on the belief that great accountancy is about trust, honesty, and knowing your client's name, not just their account number.
Where we came from
Walter Myke Accountancy was established in the West Midlands with a simple idea: that small businesses and individuals deserve the same quality of financial advice as large corporations, without the corporate price tag or the impersonal service.
Over the years we've grown steadily, built on word-of-mouth referrals from clients who trust us. We've worked with sole traders just starting out, family businesses navigating growth, landlords managing portfolios, and company directors planning their next chapter.
What hasn't changed is our approach. Every client gets a named accountant who knows their business, answers their calls, and gives them straight answers, not jargon, not waffle, not a call centre.
What you can expect from us
Straight talking
We explain things in plain English. No jargon, no unnecessary complexity. If you ask us a question, you'll get a direct answer.
Proactive advice
We don't wait for you to ask. If we spot something, a tax saving, a risk, an opportunity, we'll tell you. That's what a good accountant does.
Genuine relationships
We're not a call centre. You'll have a named accountant who knows your business, picks up the phone, and is genuinely invested in your success.
West Midlands roots
We're based here, we work here, and we understand the local business landscape. We're proud to support businesses across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Solihull, and beyond.
Come and meet us
We'd love to have a conversation about your business. Whether you're looking to switch accountants or just want to understand your options, we're always happy to talk, no obligation, no pressure.
